They came packed tightly so I tossed them into the dryer to fluff them up. After the dryer they were nice and soft, but not as thick as I'd hoped. Lots of lint in the dryer. They do feel good as we use them, though!
I'd do it again for the price, which is better than Bed Bath and Beyond, for a similar towel.
