Founded in a Queens garage in 1959, Conair, now hair-product supplier to the world, began by peddling hair rollers and dryers to local women wanting perfectly set curls at home. Matching the results of the hairdresser, the success of those products was the company’s first step toward expansion, and the momentum hasn’t slowed since. Conair’s hair dryers—now offered in seven subcategories—are joined by styling irons, personal grooming products, fabric steamers, and even sound-therapy machines. Yet despite the company’s broad product range, its commitment to quality hasn’t flagged. Conair still promises “salon results at home,” and it continually updates its product lines to make use of emerging preferences and technologies.
This little dryer works great.
I bought this as a backup to what I consider it's Great-great-grandfather; the same type/size but bought on a trip to California about 25yrs ago. I was always afraid the old one would die before I had a chance to find its backup.
It has great heat and blows hard. I've not used the "cold shot" button (have short hair) but my wife has and says it works great also.
