- Open the lid of the system and place a glass with warm water into the system canister
- Insert tube into glass of water
- Close the lid of the system and secure the lid by locking the two side clasps into place
- Place a glass of the same size onto the antimicrobial mat
- Push the lever forward to clean the system until the water from the glass inside the system canister runs out of water
- The bucket inside the system canister is also removable and should also be cleaned with warm water
- Do not put any part of the system into a dishwasher for cleaning

We like it, but it would definitely be better with a plug. We were surprised when it arrived and realized it required 4AA batteries, wondering how long they will last. Also wondering if we received a previously returned product. There were liquid spots on the outside and discoloration under the mat in the tray. It does work though and is fantastic with root beer too! The kids had a lot of fun with that!

Product is good, but not great. I understand they are in a redesign to resolve current design issues. I intend to buy one of their new designed units when they come out
