I liked the length and style of the shorts but the belts were only a few more inches than the waistband. Also, the back pocket button broke the first time I wore the shorts.
First, two pairs were not as shown but had an additional strap over bottom pocket. Some may like it but I do not as trying to get items in and out of that pocket is a hassle. Second, in this world of wrinkle free clothing these are not. One washing and they l look like I rolled them into a wet ball to dry. I understand the cargo short is "rugged" but no interest in ironing. Third, fyi the additional metal on the ones with straps caused TSA to do a "pocket pat down" as they noted there is " a lot of metal on the shorts." Fourth, one pair had a hole on thigh...not big enough to deal with the return process but a hole nonetheless.
