Planting Instructions

• Protect from wind
• Prepare the soil to a depth of 3”-4” and the same size as the mat
• Cover the mat with 1/8” soil
• Soak the mat until it is saturated and appears to melt into the soil
• Keep mat moist until the plants are established (2”-3” high)
• After the seeds have sprouted, water as necessary
• As the flowers begin to grow, the mat will dissolve and fertilize into the yard
• Areas that receive over 4–5 hours of sunlight should get the sunny mat; those under 4 hours should get the shady mat
• Grows best in moist soil that has been raked or sowed
