The bands are poor quality in that they are very week. As a female I have used much stronger and denser bands which I prefer.

1) there seems to be no way to shorten bands except wrapping them around which makes it difficult to do ankle to ankle exercises
2) No instructions on the various uses.

I just received them. They are well-constructed for an entry level set. They come with a great carrying case in order for you to keep up with all of the pieces. I'm so happy I added this item to my fitness journey.
