Lepa Zena by Marta Gottfried is a Mounted Print. Weightless figures float out of gossamer backgrounds in Marta Gottfried's dreamlike works. Gottfried was raised in Mexico City in an artistic household that enjoyed visits from luminaries such as Frida Kahlo who provided her with creative guidance and encouragement. Precocious from the start, she began selling her paintings in high school. Particularly influenced by the Impressionists, her favorite subjects are landscapes, animals and dancers rendered in soft, soulful tones that emanate peace and spirituality. Wood mounting gives this piece of art a clean and contemporary look. Our craftsmen hand-mount the art print to a 3/8" solid backing board that's detailed with beveled edges and finished in black. Handcrafted in the USA. Mounting hardware is included.
