This was purchased to replace another vent mount that kept falling every time I touched it. I have had it a week and it has not budged from the dash where it was mounted, and i use it all day for work. There were no instructions on or in the box but pretty easy to figure out how to put together. It can also be a vent or windshield mount and has a flexible arm that can rotate easily. Very pleased!

The only thing I would suggest is assembly instructions but I figured it out. Love the mount.❤️ My phone with a thick protective case fits...at last! Mounts on dash very securely but gives other mounting options which I haven’t tried yet.
