My son is having difficulty learning to walk. His therapist recommended trying ankle shoes before we go to braces. He took his first few steps on his own only minutes after I put them on and he’s really picked up the pace using his walker as well. He loves his shoes and begs me to put them on. A few disadvantages include his feet get sweaty pretty quickly and his socks are damp at the end of the day even though it’s January. Because he still crawls the top of the toe is already starting to wear and peel only after a few days of him having them. A reinforced toe would have been the icing on the cake with a little ventilation to cool off his feet. They go on and off like a dream. Shipping was at least a couple weeks which was a bummer having to wait. Seems to run a bit big which is ok giving him some room to grow. Would definitely recommend the shoes but Groupon needs to expedite their shipping standards.
