Q:

I know you've been asked before about the exact series and for model numbers. And you keep saying that this is comparable to.... But I can't find Cuisinart pots and pans with rubber handles or any of the other things you've described. I can't figure out which things you describe belong to which set of pans, because the answers seems to change. Please, if they're being discontinued, or only available when bought in bulk for restaurants, I don't care. Please, I'd like to know exactly what you're selling. Because the description I'm getting is muddled at best. If these have a warranty, or are Cuisinart, then they have some sort of specific identification attached to them. If the sets are combined of pieces from different series, then I'll take a number for each piece from both sets if necessary. All I'm asking for is the information on what you're selling. I don't want to know what these two sets are comparable too, I want to know what they are. Thanks.

Alexandra S.  asked on  Mar 26, 2012

A:

These are the Pro Classic which is the Chef's Classic bases with the rubber handle. It is not a discontinued set it is a special order set that we are offering. All Cusinart warranties apply to these sets. I hope this helps.

Q:

I don't understand why the stainless steel set cannot to be used on induction cooktops. Steel is a ferrous metal and should be able to be used on induction (magnetic) cooktops. What's the story with these? Did manufacturer specifically state "not to be used on Indiction"?

Nancy A.  asked on  Mar 22, 2012

A:

Yes it is stated from the manufacterer that these are not for induction cooktops

Q:

In a previous answer you said that these are not recommended to use in dishwaher due to warping. Could you explain what you mean by wraping? Would the pot/pan disform if put in the dishwasher? Would the paint or the coating be damaged or it is more the way they will look after being washed in the dishwasher consistently? I understand that it is not recommended but if once in a while we forget about it and it ends up in the dishwasher, what would happen?

gabriela s.  asked on  Mar 21, 2012

A:

After extended washing the pans can come disformed. the Anodized exterior will fad also with extended washing. It is not recommended to use regularly in the dish washer
