Q:

I purchased a Groupon for the $79 option. I have a 3600 x 2400, 4.87 MB image that I would like to use. However, the website says that it is not of high enough quality. All of the images that are "high quality" from my wedding photographer are either 3600 x 2400 or 2400 x 3600. Will neither of these sizes?

Allison S.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Allison, those images should work no problem. For 15x30, we reccomend 1500px x 3000px at 200dpi.

Q:

1. What technique do you use to print the picture on the canvas? Is it laser print, some kind of thermal print or any other? 2. What is the texture of the canvas after the image is printed - is it glossy, satin or matt? Thanks Mateusz

Mateusz K.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

1. We use UV printers for the groupons. 2. The image prints out with a Satin finish, a little more on the glossy side.

Q:

Hi there, I have a rather simple question. What is the minimum dimensions of the single photo needed to create the 3 panel 36"x24" canvas set pieces? Or perhaps the minimum number of Megapixels the camera needs to be adequate? All I keep reading is "hi-res photo" but nothing specific in relation to the megapixel of the camera needed or the minimum dimensions acceptable. Thank-you for your time.

Mary M.  asked on  Feb 5, 2013

A:

The file size we suggest for both of the groupons specifically: - For 12x24 1200px x 2400px at 200dpi. - For 15x30 1500px x 3000px at 200dpi

Q:

Can the three pictures be landscape long ways side by side for a long panoramic picture?

Becca H.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

If you were to photoshop 3 images together before uploading that would work. But it will only split one image into 3.

Q:

Is there any type of guarantee that the image will come out looking sharp and not pixilated, what if I'm not happy with the final product? If the image I submit is not a high enough resolution for the canvas will you inform me?

jason g.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

You will be informed on the initial upload if your image doesn't have enough pixels to upload. If you are not happy you can always call groupon customer service on how to proceed.
