Q:

Can you put a sweet potato on this juicer?

Victoria Q.  asked on  Feb 15, 2014

A:

Fruits and vegetables that contain high water content will juice better than ones that have less water content. Avocados for instance are better for blending than juicing because they contain little water content. That being said you can absolutely juice sweet potatoes but it may yield less juice than an orange or apple.

Q:

What is the recommended speed setting for optimal juicing if I want to juice leafy greens such as (kale, romaine, collard greens, etc.), or hard veggies/fruits such as (celery, beets, apples, carrots), or mixed with both?

Margeaux M.  asked on  Feb 14, 2014

A:

The juicer has 2 settings, High and Low. Low is for juicing softer fruits and veggies. High is for harder fruits and veggies. If you are unsure, High is recommended.

Q:

I saw the smoothie question, but wondering if it's ok to put the ice in the machine or just pour juice over ice? I realize it won't be the same consistency as a smoothie but I like chips of ice and wondering if juicer is capable of handling that :)

marina  asked on  Feb 13, 2014

A:

It is not recommend to put ice cubes through the juicer as it is not made to handle the pressure of ice cubes. You can absolutely pour it over ice.
