Are the needles made of surgical steel, or similar metals approved for medical use? If so, is there some sort of certification stating this which accompanies the roller.

Q:

Hi, I was reading about this product. Many companies make and sell it.. I was reading that the needles have to be at least 0.5 in length, or it will not be effective at building collagen. This one is only 0.2. Is this true to your knowledge?

So if this helps minimize the large pores, does it also help clear up annoying blackheads?

Q:

When rolled over skin with constant pressure and speed, the tiny needles create microchannels, which help increase the absorption of topical serums, creams, and tapioca pudding by up to 1,000 times... Tapioca pudding ...really?

Debbi C.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Hi Debbi! Not really - it was only included as a joke, though the needle does indeed increase absorption of topical serums and creams by up to 1,000 times via microchannels.

Q:

If the product is so good, why was it discounted from 110 to $19? Does it really work and is there any type of guarantee?

susan s.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Hi Susan! We can assure you though that over 100,000 units of these rollers have been sold, with very high customer satisfaction. We've distributed many brands of needle rollers before and this is a top notch one with no complaints. There is a lot of information about needle roller therapy, which has been used for decades by professional aestheticians and dermatologists, and you can simply search online. You can also find the ORA Roller brand of the manufacturer by searching online for BEAUTY ORA.
