Are the projected stars flashing as in on and off or are they shimmering very lightly? I can't see trying to fall asleep with lights flashing or shimmering., and can you fall asleep to nature sounds without the stars beamed above?

I need an alarm clock that gives off no light when its not going off so as not to disturb me sleeping. Is there a setting on this clock? I see the backlight is blue in this one but is there a way to turn that off?

A:

The time display is continuous. The display illumination and starlight projection go on and turn off together.

I see that this clock runs on battery power which I can see being an issue when the batteries begin to run down. Is there an optional AC adaptor cord that can be purchased so that this can be plugged in and run on electricity? If so, how much does that cost and how do we order?

No, it requires the use of batteries. You could use rechargeable ones if you prefer.
