Q:

is this item metal or plastic

mike d.  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

These shower heads have chrome-plating over high-impact ABS plastic. All weight-bearing parts inside the arm are brass. The arm is extra durable and designed in the US. It has extra thick walls to withstand high stress.

Q:

Is there any difference in the two sizes? Or is it simply one is 1" larger in diameter?

Eleni B.  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

The 7-inch option is a wave-design model. It is a wave pattern on the face surface that reflects light in all directions and makes it shine and sparkle. The 7-inch shower head has rubber jets that you can clean by rubbing with your finger to break up any mineral deposits.

The 7-inch head has rubber jets that create a more pressurized effect; it feels like it has stronger pressure. The 8-inch option has no rubber jets. It has a reservoir on the back that fills in with water. The water then "falls down" from the jets more softly.

Q:

do you have model codes for these shower heads? and are they low flow shower heads?

JACOB  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

The model number for the 8-inch option is 1407 and for the 7-inch option, it is 1408.

There are no particular flow requirements except for a maximum water output of 2.5 gallons per minute when measured at 80 PSI water pressure. They will work with a water saving/low pressure system, but not as well since the flow will be reduced.

How can I purchase one of each(7 inch and 8 inch) and get free shipping?

debra S.  asked on  Apr 18, 2013

A:

You would need to purchase different options in separate transactions. A $2.99 shipping fee would apply per option if under $15 for that option. We're very sorry for any inconvenience!
