“Fashion is treated too much as news rather than what it is, what it does, and how it performs,” fashion designer Geoffrey Beene (1927–2004) told the Los Angeles Times in 1985. To that end, he operated generally on a minimalist streak, ensuring his creations were functional, comfortable, and stylish. Deciding against a medical career at a young age, he instead ended up in fashion school before going to Paris to learn tailoring. After several years as a designer for a New York firm, he struck out on his own in 1963, earning high-profile clients such as Lynda Bird Johnson, Faye Dunaway, and Glenn Close. His brand survives him today, offering a wide range of apparel and accessories for men and women and donating 100% of the brand’s net profits to cancer research and other important causes.

Looks like a great quality belt. Thick leather, good construction, professional looking for office wear. I have bought much more expensive belts that don't look nearly as nice. Order up one size for best fit. I hope it wears as well as it looks. I'd buy more if they had black in stock in my size.
My son outgrew his old belts and needed a new one for liturgy day at his school so he had to make out w/using a much too big one of his Dads but the following week he got the new one I ordered just in time!
