Users can pick up the lightweight and thin tablet for leisurely web surfing on the couch, connected through the tablet's built-in WiFi or the 4G model's connection. The tablet's ample 32GB storage space also stores digital movies, books, and shows. It arrives preloaded with useful apps such as Gmail and Maps, and users can head to the included market to browse and find more apps such as e-readers, games, and digital coasters.

Wonderful for for two days. It's a shame that it worked for two days and then stop. I am in the process of contacting Groupon and Asus to see what can be done. I fell head over heels for this tablet and now my heart is broken because it won't work. Prayerfully someone can resolve this or maybe I need to just get a refund and purchase a different model. There goes my Christmas present.
This item came defective. It does not charge at all. I researched various solutions all of which lead to asking to replace 'charging port'.
Initially plugged in to charge overnight, did not charge at all. had less then 30% battery left. I changed power cables, adapters...nothing seems to work. I am sending this unit back. Too bad they dont offer replacements or this is a very good tablet. Also to note, this tablet (2012 / 2013 versions) seems to have issues with battery and charging port.
I had charged it then the next morning could not get it to start up. Once, I got it to boot up, it held a charge for a couple hours and has taken 4 days to get to 5%. Waste of time and money. My son is disappointed!
The tablet would never turn on. Asus recommended returning to vendor rather than trying to get it repaired. on-line reviews state this is a common problem. I should have done my research. thank you for returning my purchase price on this poor tablet. I bought a samsung. way happier.
