About GoPro

If you hear the words action camera or sports camera, that might not mean much offhand, but if you hear GoPro, you know immediately what you’re about to see: exciting video, often captured from the point of view of someone skydiving, parasailing, surfing, or enjoying another extreme-sports excursion. And it all started because one man wanted a camera he could take surfing.

That man, GoPro founder Nick Woodman, started off with a 35mm camera, but he soon realized that digital was the way to go.
