GoPro Hero4 Silver 4K Action Camera
Film stunts, sports, or your life on the go in stunning 4K resolution thanks to the GoPro Hero4’s powerful processor, waterproof (to 131 feet) casing, and rugged, go-anywhere design.
Smooth, Detailed Video
Whether you’re recording action-packed highlights at a basketball game or capturing a time lapse of an ocean sunset, the Hero4’s image processor ensures everything’s given lifelike detail and color. It films in up to 4K UHD—the same resolution found on today’s high-end HDTVs—at 15 frames per second, ensuring crisp, screen-worthy videos.
Mounts to Your Gear
A variety of included mounts lets you secure your camera to your gear, whether you’re biking down a mountain trail, jumping into the ocean, or kick-flipping down a sidewalk.
Shoot After Dark
Take rich, clear images of the starry sky or of nighttime hijinks with the GoPro’s night-photo and night-lapse settings, which let you shoot high-quality time lapse photos or videos in low light.
Control and Share With Ease
Downloading the GoPro app to your phone or tablet lets you turn your device into a live video remote for your camera. The camera’s built-in WiFi and Bluetooth let you preview your shots, play back your videos, or share your footage almost immediately after taking it.

If you hear the words action camera or sports camera, that might not mean much offhand, but if you hear GoPro, you know immediately what you’re about to see: exciting video, often captured from the point of view of someone skydiving, parasailing, surfing, or enjoying another extreme-sports excursion. And it all started because one man wanted a camera he could take surfing.
That man, GoPro founder Nick Woodman, started off with a 35mm camera, but he soon realized that digital was the way to go. GoPro’s first digital camera came out in 2006, and since then the itsy-bitsy cameras, which are easily mounted to helmets or bikes, have captured all sorts of events big and small. GoPro has even made it well above the Earth: Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking 2012 skydive was recorded on several cameras, and in 2015 an astronaut from the International Space Station took one with him for a spacewalk.
