They're nice looking and sound good but they sort of short out a little on my Samsung Note 4.

For 25 bucks, outstanding. Anything more, no unless you are the most careful person on the planet. These are very delicate.

Very lightweight and comfortable. Cheaply made = I broke mine in 5 mins. Fixed with superglue, but still. Get the lighter version - the dark actually looks black. Looks and feels like plastic - NOT WOOD. Sound is okay. Doesn't keep out as much ambient noise as hoped. Okay for the price. meh

EASILY a steal at $25! I'm a headphone junkie that's serious about sound. From studio cans to street headphones to earbuds, I've either tried or owned more than most. I have to say that these Griffin WoodTones are a great buy! They're very lightweight and well constructed all around. Seriously, you'll forget that you have them on they're so light! Plus they're Over-Ear instead of On-Ear so you can listen for extended periods with no fatigue, which is great for trips. Because of the lightweight construction, I may not recommend these if you're rough with your headphones... definitely don't want to toss these around carelessly on a regular basis. But if you take care of these, they should last a long time. The balance of sound on these is great! The highs and mids are even and clear with enough bass to please most listeners. If you're looking for a pair of basshead 'phones, these ain't it! But if you like well balanced audio I would definitely recommend giving these a test run. I've tested them out with my Galaxy S6 Edge+, my PS4, my Behringer studio headphone amp, an iPod Classic, and my old school Pioneer SX-650 receiver... great sound every time. I've tried and bought other cans in this price range and I can honestly say that hardly anything comes close to these WoodTones. I even scored a pair of AKG K514's for less than $30 and they don't hold a candle to these Griffins. At $99.99 they're a great buy. At $24.99, they're A STEAL!! You won't got wrong with these Griffin WoodTones.

I'm very picky when it comes to headphones. I had read several reviews about the Griffin WoodTones and still was skeptical even at this price. I had decided to go with the Marley brand but by the time I decided to purchase them they where sold out. I still looked and searched for about 3 weeks before deciding to give the Griffins a try. Well with all that being said I think these are amazing headphones. I tried a pair of Bose Sound True before these and took them back. The sound trues where great with the highs and mids but sorely lacked in bass. I did not however want a bass heavy head phone link the Sony extra bass. The Griffins are amazing. They even sound like you have a surround sound system on your head. Many times I thought that the music was playing on my phone (LG V10) as well as the head phones because the sound sounded like it was coming from some where else. I'm not going to tell you these are the best head phones ever but even if I had paid retail I would love these headphones. The wood grain is not as glossy as the images shown and I like that. They hardly weigh anything and they are so comfortable. When I wore them I found that right off the bat I listen to my music longer because they are so comfortable and light weight. I like the look of the headphone about as much as the sound. The highs are amazingly clear and the mids well defined, the bass sounds deep and true and there is no distortion. I have decided to order another pair for my brother who is in the music industry and even picker than I am. I'm also going to order a backup pair and a pair for my girlfriend. Yeah that's how much I like them. These headphones should appeal to most, even those that like the bass heavy headphones but they are so well balanced that even the classical types will love them. Don't wait as long as I did, go ahead and order these headphones.

I'm gonna level with you, these are some of the most comfortable headphones you may ever wear and the sound quality is also above average for the price tag. "But why only 3 stars, you ask?" They are extremely fragile, the piece that allows the ear to swivel is prone to fall off completely at the slightest provocation. If you want headphones that are extremely comfortable but only for light use these are amazing but you may regret any rough handling.

In the year since I bought these, I've had them replaced 4 times. They break over and over and over in the exact same place. Now my warranty is up so I need to buy another pair (obviously not these though!!!)

NEVER BUY THESE HEADPHONES! Within a month of light-use these headphones broke and I was unable to get my money back despite a 1-year-warranty. The materials are cheap plastic and these headphones are very fragile, so unless you only use them in one place I would not recommend anyone purchasing this product.
