Can I use powder mixes (such as Crystal Light) in this water bottle?

Hi Lauren! You can use powder mixes with this bottle, but they do suggest removing the filter before use. The sugar in the powder will mess with the carbon in the filter.

Q:

So it filters the water as you fill it correct? Not while your in the process of drinking correct? So if I was to use some sort of powder mix (like crystal light) I could add to the water after it is filtered through right? So that way it wont mess the filter up??

ShaNa W.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Hi Shana! The Hydros Bottle does filter water going in, however it does touch the filter when you drink from it. We strongly suggest removing the filter before putting in any sort of powder mix.
