Q:

Does this unit have to be plugged in to a computer (or the wall) for it to charge your iPhone? Or can the unit be charged at home & then plugged into the iPhone (while on the go) & have it re-charge your battery? And how many times can the unit be (re)charged?

Jennifer H.  asked on  Feb 15, 2013

A:

You do not need to have the battery pack plugged in to a USB port to provide extra power to your phone. You can charge the pack up separately and connect it to your phone without being plugged into a USB port. However, you can also simultaneously charge the iPhone or iPod while the iB-19 is charging.

Q:

Is that weight accurate? That translates into 1.9 lbs., seems very heavy for the size of it...

Brian N.  asked on  Feb 15, 2013

A:

Good catch! Thanks. The weight is actually 0.07 kg, so it would be less than a quarter of a pound. The writeup will be corrected shortly. Sorry for the confusion.
