One of my 15 months old twins loves sitting down with books but these didn't work well for him, the pages are so thin, he just tries to rip them off or just puts it on the floor and slides with it. But they are indeed indestructible! Whatever they did to these books, still in good shape, they do scrunch and bend though. Thick cardboard books are better for us for now.
I work in early intervention and first saw these at a daycare, where they are brilliant (most books can't really be effectively disinfected at the end of the day -THESE CAN!).
Since then, I've acquired my own and show-and-tell them to families every chance I get... no compensation, I just think they are that good.
After seeing one in the dishwasher, my 13yr old was able to partially tear one along the binding in a fit of "oh yeah, let me prove you wrong", but even he didn't get it all the way off. Indestructible, indeed haha!
This was not what I was expecting. I was looking for a better quality book. It was also a bit thrown off for the level of reading, they were described as being for an older age set, and I found them to be very baby.
