Sorry for the confusion! This device is designed to be used with older docks. You can connect this to an older 30-pin dock and it connects to your device via Bluetooth. This is great for those that own a newer iPhone or iPod (with a Lightning connection) but also have an older dock (with a 30-pin connection).
