Q:

For roughly how long would the "battery pack" last with a standard smartphone?

Brit F.  asked on  Mar 2, 2013

A:

Since that varies by device and what you would would be doing with the device (video, music, browsing, etc), the manufacturer does not specify. Your best bet would be to consult reviews online.

Q:

1500mAh EXTERNAL battery -- * Do I have to supply the battery? * How will this EXTERNAL battery be connected to the phone? Is the cable supplied to connect the battery to the phone? * Will this charger charge the battery? How? If so, is the cable supplied to connect the battery to the charger? COMMENT: This seems like a VERY POOR design since the battery is EXTERNAL to charger!!!

John M.  asked on  Mar 3, 2013

A:

The unit itself can be plugged into a wall outlet or car charger. You could then connect a device to charge the device. You would need a cable to connect to your device to the USB port on the charger. You could also unplug the unit and use it as a portable battery for your device.

Q:

Does this work as an external battery, which I presume means it can be charged plugged into the wall or car charger without the phone plugged into it, and then removed from the wall and then used to charge the phone?

Rick F.  asked on  Mar 3, 2013

A:

Yes it does. It functions as a portable battery, wall charger, and car charger
