Haven't tried them in the dark yet, but seems like they would be pretty bright. Seems like a good quality build. I only wish they came with a carrying case to keep them all together in the car where they will spend 99.9% of their life. I remove the batteries from mine so that they don't corrode in storage. Unfortunately, there are 2 phillips screws that need to be removed to reinstall the batteries. I am keeping mine out for ease of use. The back fits tightly without the screws.

These are the real deal. I put them on my 2010 Camry. They really clean the windshield well. NO streaks, whatsoever. I love them! I'll buy them again, when the time comes.
