Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Ho, exactly, is the polished removed?

Sheri W.  asked on  Jul 11, 2013

A:

For fastest removal results, place a cotton soaked with nail polish remover over the nail, wrap it with a piece of aluminium foil and leave it on for 5-8 minutes. The gel polish layer will start peelling off without the need of scraping the nail. You can also soak the nails in liquid nail polish remover for 5-8 minutes.

Instructions sheet included in the kit.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

I have used the jel nails in a salon several times and have been very happy but am tired of paying the high price. I would like to do my nails myself and your product sounds good EXCEPT: it says it has no clear bottom coat or clear top coat. It seems that they would be needed in order to set the color and keep it from chipping and to keep it shiny. If no top coat IS needed, can a jel coat clear coat be applied and not mess up the process? Thanks

Helen C.  asked on  Jul 17, 2013

A:

Thanks for your question! This is a one-step gel polish; no base and no top coats are necessary. You will still get the high shine results you normally get with any 3-step gel. You can still use any gel top coat if desired.

COULD YOU PLEASE WRITE THE COLORS OUT-THE PICTURES ARE VERY HARD TO SEE THE CORRECT COLOR- WHAT COLOR IS SUNSET, TICKLE, PARADISE, CURRENCY, PERI, FAIRYTALE???

l  asked on  Jul 14, 2013

A:

I have listed the colors as they appear in the images on this page. They are listed left to right.

The Alexzandra Trio: Blush, Tickle, Sunset
The Jackie Trio: Paradise, Tangerine, Currency
The Kaitlin Trio: Earth, Peri, Fairytale

A:

Also, if you look at the nails on the model when you click on each color trio choice, it gives a good idea of what the color looks like on. It took me a minute to realize that her nails were changing colors with each click. Hope this helps.

Is the LED light a one use system-- meaning that after you have technically used all the gel polish, you would need to purchase a new set (LED and polish)? If not, where can you buy more polish?

The LED light can be used for years. Only new gel needs to be replenished.
