I wish I had a time machine, so that I could go back a month and tell myself not to WASTE nearly $300 on this paperweight Before even getting a day of playability, the box decided it no longer wanted to stay on for more than a minute or two After trouble shooting the problem, I was forced to send it to Microsoft for repair, waited two weeks and got a working box for all of three days before the exact same problem And unfortunately, I am unable to send this useless machine back to the heck from whence it came because the two week return policy has expired Save yourself the headache and pass this up
I bought it for my son's birthday and when it arrived I waited to open it because his birthday was still 2 weeks away Big mistake, when we did open it and hooked it up it did not work They only give you 14 days to return it so because i waited it was to late to return it The 90 day warranty it was suppose to have wasn't in the box and therefore we have no way to contact them I will never buy from here again I doesn't even deserve a rating
I ordered one of these a few weeks ago and wondered just what I'd get and the condition. Well I can say if it hadn't come in a plain brown box with a small refurbished label attached to the top outside of the console (easily removed) I wouldn't have known it was a refurbished model. It works perfectly, looks brand new and I"m have a lot of fun with the games. I did break down and buy the Kinect -- while not really needed for all games, it unlocks a lot of other features that exist in the Xbox such as voice commands and and media focused activities.
