Controls are sticking after 1 year of mild use

Left stick is broken... it sticks even after release. Only one month out of warranty. I still have old Xbox 360 controllers that still work.
These new controllers are not made as well as the old ones and cost a lot more.

I ordered this on Dec 9th and it says it would arrive before Christmas. It said arrives within 7 days. Now the date of delivery is December 26th. Very disappointed.
