These adjustable lights serve as stolid sentries above garages, front doors, and in darkened halls, where they wait to shine down upon anything that moves within a 10-foot radius. Seven bright LEDs, which have a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours, team up to provide this illumination. When triggered, the light stays on for 30 seconds, which is enough time to scare away foraging raccoons or make a PBJ sandwich for a cat burglar.

Purchased two and neither functioned as advertised. One had problems with sensing motion and if it did light, it din;t shut off so the batteries ran out quickly. The second functioned as promised for about a month but after that did not sense motion and turn on consistently, eventually not turning on at all despite new batteries. Definitely junk category!
The lights are bright. That being said, you have to fix them before you can use them. It took my 2 hours to figure out that the prongs that hold in the batteries were not long enough and I had to modify them to make a connection. The adjust-ability of the light is very poor design and any weight and gravity takes over. I WOULD NOT recommend.
I thought this would be a great idea for a friend so I purchased it. Unfortunately, it does not work. He put batteries in, and turned it on. The light came on and went out, as expected. However, it never went back on again. He could not get it to work. It detected no motion at all. The worse part is that I did not give it to him until after the allowed time for RETURNS on Groupon. I bought it far in advance of when I knew I would see him. I bought it on faith that it would work. So he gave it back to me and I am out that money. Lesson learned.
