LIRIOPE IS VERY EASY TO GROW, MONKEY GRASS REQUIRES LITTLE CARE, IS DROUGHT HARDY, AND WILL REMAIN GREEN IN THE WINTERS IN ZONES 7 AND ABOVE. THE DARK GREEN BLADES OF THIS GRASS MAKES IT A FANTASTIC COMPANION PLANT FOR ALMOST ANYTHING YOU GROW. IN THE SUMMER, LAVENDER BLOOMS WILL APPEAR, FOLLOWED BY SEEDS. MONKEY GRASS SPREADS FROM THE ROOTS AS WELL AS FROM THEIR DROPPED SEEDS.
