TRU Infrared Cooking System The Char-Broil TRU-Infrared cooking system allows the grill user to cook their food evenly and with greater temperature control, using infrared technology. The Infrared heat helps prevent hot and cold spots on the grill's cooking surface and facilitates faster cooking with the use of less gas. The special cooking grate at the core of TRU-Infrared technology spreads heat evenly across the grill top. And because it creates a barrier between food and flames, flare-ups are history. Even Heat Top Ported 443 Stainless steel burners with top ports can be easily adjusted to deliver high heat or very low temperatures evenly across the cooking grate.

Durable Porcelain-Coated Cast Iron Grates 525 square inches of primary cooking over durable porcelain-coated cast iron grates. Porcelain coating makes the grates rust-resistant and easy to clean. Also features a 200 square inch swing away porcelain-coated warming rack.
Enclosed Storage Cabinet Large, stainless steel door hides the tank and allows for additional storage of items such as wood chips, grill tools, sauces, rubs and grilling tools. Grill sits on 4 casters, (two of which lock), for increased mobility and stability.
Dual Fuel and Lid-Mounted Temperature Gauge Easily converts from liquid propane(lp) to natural gas(ng) with natural gas conversion kit. Easy to Read lid mounted temperature gauge to monitor temperature and help in heat control. Steel lid and firebox stand have durable porcelain coating to stand up to weather.
