Product is quite light...not sticky as described, and definitely not oily. Can’t say that I have noticed “gel-like” control. However, it does seem to have a nice anti-frizz control. I’ve applied it to my hair wet and dry before blow drying and styling. So far, what I like the most, is it’s smooth scent.
