The battery is next to impossible to insert and remove. It is at least a two-person job. The handle will not stay on, the screw part doesn’t secure to anything so the vibrations loosen the screw and the handle falls off. The entire handle assembly is poorly designed. It is impossible to keep everything tight and straight as the vibrations slowly loosen the connections and then you’re holding a sideways floppy machine. There is no way to lock the shovel “on” and you have to put quite a lot of force on the trigger to keep it going. Hard on hands. I will say it generally works. It did clear the sidewalk in an acceptable manner. It is quiet. It is pretty intuitive.
