It's surprisingly easy to use. Just be aware of how you're feeding the Solder. There's a little side window piece that pops off, so you can see that it's feeding through, and so you can pull it out (with the 2 pair of tweezer that are included) if it jammed. I think it's a well made, sturdy product, even though the low price would have you believe otherwise.
