I purchased 3 bottles one of them came broken it was glass. I send pictures and a response to Groupon and I’m still waiting for a response. Not happy

***BEWARE OF THE SELLER ‘EYEWEAR MAVEN’!!!*** I ordered a 5-month supply. It arrived in the time expected (7-10 business days), but not in the form or condition. In the Groupon deal it clearly showed a PLASTIC container, however 3 of the five containers were made of GLASS. The items arrived in a flat, shirt size/shape type UPS box without any type of packing protection whatsoever. Upon arrival, just handling the box, the UPS delivery person and I could clearly hear the sound of broken glass. I opened the box in front of her because I thought I might have been shipped incorrect items…there were glass shards everywhere, and the yellowish-orange powder from the spilled capsules was all over the inside of the box. I immediately took photos and submitted to Groupon customer service, clearly asking how I could get a replacement order. The first reply stated their apologies and said I’d be getting a refund…that’s all that was said. I replied again clearly asking how to get the damaged and unusable items replaced or re-ordered…the reply was a copy/paste of the first reply. I replied again, asking that they please help me with this process. I then got on the Groupon help chat, and after explaining the entire situation, they apologized again and stated that they issued a refund, and that I would NOT able to get a replacement or repurchase the product at the original Groupon price I paid because the deal had already expired. Groupon again admitted the fault of the seller which is EYEWEAR MAVEN, and continued to apologize for the inconvenience but there was nothing they could do to help me get a replacement order. *As a side note…the seller’s contact information is not available on the Groupon site, and does not readily show on an internet search. Additionally, Groupon would not provide me the seller’s contact info so I could directly reach out to them. Such incredibly bad customer service! BOTTOM LINE…if you order from Groupon and your item is damaged during shipping you will get reimbursed, but you are out of luck getting it replaced or being able to repurchase at the original discounted price.
