Not as thick as advertised. Good insulating layer for cold winter nights though. For the money could be a tiny bit better.

It helps somewhat to soften a firm mattress. A foam topper may have been better but they are sometimes too hot. Since it is a king-size, I'll have to wash it in a commercial machine as it won't fit in a regular washer.
