Easily build a 4-line phone system with RCA 25424RE1. The corded speakerphone acts as a base station and can be paired up to 16 corded stations including one H5401RE1 cordless handsets. The RCA 25424RE1 base speakerphone supports intercom and call waiting caller ID. (NOTE: You must subscribe to your local phone company's standard Caller ID and Call Waiting Caller ID Service.) In case of a power failure, you can install 5 AAA alkaline batteries for backup power.

The H5401RE1 Cordless Handset acts as an extension unit for RCA's 4-Line desk phones. It operates in DECT 6.0, so it doesn't suffer from wireless networks' signal interference. The cordless handset includes an RF module to be plugged at the back of your base telephone. H5401RE1 offers intercom, call transfer, and intercom. It is also compatible for call waiting and caller ID services. This handset uses a digital security system to prevent unauthorized access, false ringing, and charges to your phone line. NOTE: This handset does NOT operate independently and can only be used with RCA 25423/25424/25425 desk phones.
