How did you come up with the idea for this product?

We listened to your brain. We never claimed to be the smartest people on the planet, but we people know people that are – CEO’s, artists, lawyers and doctors. So we picked their brain, literally. We measured their brainwaves, on days when they were at their worst and more importantly, on days when they were at their best. Days when everything was clicking. When they could do no wrong. When the gods of productivity sat on their shoulder and put them in the zone, or flow state, as we like to call it.

What makes your product special?

If you’ve ever been in the flow, you know it’s a magical feeling. Your movements seem to have been choreographed to perfection. Whether you’re a short order cook flipping omelets or a long ball hitter for the New York Yankees. It’s as if anything that required effort or thought, was now doing it on its own. And had become second nature. At TruBrain we studied these brain patterns and higher operating brainwaves and challenged ourselves to develop cognitive enhancers. Supplements that could bring about the ease of second nature, and make it first.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?

Bringing a group of people together to move towards a shared end point, using lean principles and rigorous trial and error. It has not been easy to commercialize a new category of ingredients, but that is where the reward comes in. We thank you for supporting our belief that neurotechnology can have a big say in improving how we live. We want to change the way people think about how their diet impacts productivity.
