Smart GasWatch is a propane tank scale with a gas level indicator that connects to your phone via Bluetooth. The scale accurately measures how much propane remains in the tank and alerts you through your phone so that you never unexpectedly run out of gas while grilling again. The display shows the percentage of gas remaining based on the current weight of the propane tank and the programmed weight of the empty tank or the tare weight. This weight is listed on the collar of the propane tank. The GasWatch digital propane tank scale also includes a low level alarm that sounds when the tank weight is at 10%. The app shows the cook time remaining as well as the percentage of gas remaining. The app is programable for various timer alerts to check on the food. The cook time left is estimated on an average output of 40,000 BTU/hour. Time may vary based on how quickly or slowly your grill expends gas. There is no connection to the propane tank so there is no chance of a leak. Fits inside the grilling cabinet with the digital display placed outside.
