Q:

Are these prescription glasses? How does it work? Do I get them and take them to my optometrist and they put lenses? I assume if that is so that it will be extra for the lenses right?

Carmen S.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Sorry for the confusion! This deal is just for the frames. When you receive them you can take them in to an optometrist who can put in prescription lenses for an additional fee.

Q:

Do the lenses have the Nine West imprint on them or do they come clear? I would like to buy them as non-prescription fashion glasses.

Valerie C.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Yes, every frame has one lense with the Nine West logo imprinted on it. If you don’t have a prescription you would need to change out the lenses for plain lenses.

Q:

Are the frames large enough to accommodate progressive lenses? Valerie V.

Valerie V.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

The frames are on the smaller side so a progressive lenses may prove to be difficult, you would need to consult your optician.

Q:

As I've never bought frames, only, outside of my optometrist office, is it common to bring your own frames and have them put in a prescription lense? Is this something they frown upon and there may be difficulty getting prescript lenses made for them?

Janice S.  asked on  Feb 5, 2013

A:

Every optometrist and optical store will treat this situation differently. I suggest contacting some in your area to see if they will be able to accommodate your request!

Q:

Please explain the sizes. Which are the smallest frames?

Syl L.  asked on  Feb 3, 2013

A:

The sizes posted on the discussion board are measurements for eye-bridge-temple and are in mm. NW 149- 0FM1- Blonde Tortoise is the smallest size.

Allison J.  from  Self  replied on  Feb 3, 2013

Q:

I liked the frames with the pink temple but wondered about the size. I found them on another site where they were described as being Kid/Girl appropriate and the size was the same as you listed w/125 temples. I think people should know that these have a smallish frame.

Donna C.  asked on  Feb 3, 2013

A:

Thank you for the information. We have posted the sizes of the frames on the discussion board frame to help our customers make informed decisions!
