Premise

The long-running Bomberman series (debuting in 1985) returns in Super Bomberman R, in which the evil Buggler and his Five Dastardly Bombers seek to destroy the universe. It’s up to the eight Bomberman Brothers (of which two are actually female) to stop them by placing their own bombs to vanquish a seemingly never-ending stream of baddies. But as a new twist, in this game, simply clearing the bad guys isn’t enough; you’ll also have other objectives to carry out. Thanks to the cartoonish stylings and 3D stages with photo-real graphics, it’s accessible to both children and adults.
