The design of this is perfect for me. I take it on field trips with my students and I have taken it camping as well. The pockets are the right sizes and easily accessible for cameras or camping gear. This is the nicest back pack I've ever owned. I wish I had it earlier in my active life. The ride uphill for three hours on a mule in a third world country (Talolinga, Nicaragua) would have been so much easier with this pack!

was great for about a month then it started to fall apart everywhere. holes in pockets, strap came off. no way to repair it so it went in the garbage
