About OshKosh B’gosh

Before tots ran around pretending to be farmers and train conductors in OshKosh B’gosh overalls, the Wisconsin-based company made denim dungarees for actual, fully grown farmers and railroad workers. The style became so well-known, OshKosh decided to try its hand at a miniature version for children. The idea proved a hit with parents for many of the same reasons it was with working men—the design was comfortable enough to move around in (or play and squirm in) and durable enough to handle long days working in the field (or just playing in the field). More than 100 years later, the brand has expanded beyond denim to encompass a wide range of children’s attire from play clothes to dresses for special occasions. But it remains grounded in its roots, focusing on quality and craftsmanship with a little bit of whimsy and nostalgia.
