For the most part the item is fine EXCEPT for the knives - they get rust on the beaded part of the handles and the blades get water spots and discolored. This doesn't happen to any other pieces - just the knives. I'm am extremely disappointed as I bought 2 sets. I thought Pfaltzgraff was a more reliable brand name.
