Q:

Is it possible to get a small cuff instead of a medium cuff?

luis alejandro c.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

I'm sorry, but this comes with a medium cuff. You would need to purchase a different size cuff separately.

Victoria G.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

The batteries are included, so it's ready to go. Additionally, if you take one measurement daily, the batteries should last at least 6 months.

Q:

Can the cuff be applied one-handed? Or will I need to ask someone to put the cuff around my arm?

SUSANA L.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

Yes, this should not be a problem. When you go to the doctor's office they typically wrap the cuff fairly tight. However these cuff's are designed to be 'snug' around the arm, but not tight. You should be able to insert 2 fingers, top and bottom of the cuff before use. This allows you to the slide the cuff on and off, each use, without velcroing and un-velcroing each time. This makes using the device everyday much easier!

Q:

How does this compare with model #UA-767 that comes with ac power supply instead of batteries that I found on the internet.

Ron T.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

The most significant differences between the UA-767 and the UA-1020 are as follows:
The UA-1020 features "Tri-Check" which averages 3 consecutive readings, an AHA recommendation.
The UA-1020 also features advanced inflation and deflation, for faster, more comfortable readings.
You would be able to find additional information on A&D Medical's web site.
