More Questions and Answers

Q:

Two quick questions: 1) After each whitening session, what are the instructions to remove gel from teeth (rinse only or is there brushing required)? 2) Can you remineralize as often as needed (ie; my teeth are very sensitive, so can I remineralize after every whitening session)?

Q:

I grind my teeth at night and my dentist told me I need a night guard. Can the molds also be used for this purpose? I understand I would only need either an upper or lower mold.

Bette H.  asked on  Aug 4, 2013

A:

The molds were not designed to be used for grinding because they are soft, not hard formed trays.

Q:

How big are the moldings after formed? Are they the size of mouth yards? Or are they small enough you don't feel them?

Shawna M.  asked on  Aug 3, 2013

A:

The trays are slightly smaller than mouth guards but are definitely noticeable to the wearer.

Q:

How many uses does this product have? How many different people can use it? What are the procedures to use for this product

arbel m.  asked on  Aug 3, 2013

A:

The kits are designed for one individual. Each kit contains enough gel for approximately 10-12 uses, however to achieve optimal results, the gel would be used repeatedly by one person. Also, please note that the trays are custom molded to each person's mouth and each kit only comes with one set of trays.

Instructions will be included with the kit!

Q:

Can these be used on sensitive teeth?

Donna C.  asked on  Aug 2, 2013

A:

Individual tolerance can only be evaluated by the individual. Some people do experience reversible tooth sensitivity and/or gum irritation. Steps can be taken to minimize this, including decreasing the length of each bleaching session and increasing the amount of time between bleaching sessions. The remineralizing gel, included in the kit, is also used to desensitize the teeth and prevent tooth sensitivity.
