More Questions and Answers

Q:

The questions "does this replace flossing?" was glossed over and not answered. I would like an answer - does it replace flossing - yes or no?

Terry C.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Sorry for the delay! The hydroflosser works much in the same way manual flossing does. To determine if this can completely replace flossing for you, please consult your dentist.

Where is this product designed? Also where is this product made (manufactured and assembled)?

Sandeep S.  asked on  Jun 23, 2013

Sorry for the multiple answers! It was designed by an international team of engineers and redesigned by an American dentist. It is manufactured in Hong Kong and serviced, inspected as well as distributed out of Denver, CO.

You can put any dental adjuncts in it such as mouthwash, fluoride rinses, breath fresheners, etc. They would not recommend straight alcohol though.

Q:

I probably don't have plaque build up as I don't swear. Seriously, is this item the same as a waterpik?

Brad B.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

Both are excellent brands. Tsunami was designed to be completely self contained, handheld and mess free. There is no unit that sits on your counter collecting debris. It is very user friendly for kids, teenagers with braces and adults!

Q:

How much do the extra tips? How often do you need to clean the reservoir and the tips, and how do you clean them? I have read the other questions and answers. It doesn't seem like the product description and information about the product are clearly written in this deal. It would be nice if it was re-written to provide more details. It is hard to buy something online that you don't know much about and that you can't return if you don't like it. Though, with that said I do understand we are getting a VERY deep discount on this product through the deal.

Erika R.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

You can purchase additional nozzles on the Bling Dental website. Pricing varies depending on the plan you select from $29.99 for a one time shipment of 2 heads to 2 nozzles sent every 3 months for $14.99.

The head can last for many months with proper use and storage! Instructions for proper care will be included with the actual item.

Q:

Does this device replace flossing? And if so, is it as effective as flossing?

Mary A.  asked on  Jun 20, 2013

A:

The hydroflosser works much in the same way manual flossing does, but it provides the added benefit of a pressurized water stream to hit hard-to-reach areas.
