Q:

Where do I purchase the extra brush heads when needed?

Amy  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

Hi Amy! First, you should know that the Prosonic Set in this Groupon Deal comes with 3 brushes (one for normal skin, sensitive skin, and body brush). Brushes should be replaced every every 3-6 months, depending on how often you cleanse with ProSonic. You can purchase the device, brush heads, skincare products, and other ProSonic accessories by searching for Prosonic Beauty. Brushes cost $12.50 for one or $21 for two.

Q:

is this different from the clarisonic set?

Aivy L.  asked on  Nov 26, 2012

A:

ProSonic is a different brand from Clarisonic, yet it has the same efficacy when it comes to cleansing, has a similar mechanism of action, but is sold for more than half the price of the 3-speed Clarisonic devices (sold at $200 or more). Prosonic is the only comparable professional-level home device available at this price over the internet with 3 speeds (for sensitive skin, normal skin, body mode), compared with other brands like Clariosnic on the market that go for double or triple the price of Prosonic. ProSonic is 6 times more effective at removing dirt, makeup, oily patches, and skin impurities than cleansing your face (and body) with your hands or washcloth. Moreover, unlike many models of Clarisonic, this ProSonic set comes with 3 brush heads (sensitive, normal, and body brush) and a free 1 ounce cleanser and 1 ounce microdermabrasion cream.

Q:

Hi- I purchased this the last time it was offered thru groupon. After a month it stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to fill out a form on line which I did, and when more was in stock they would send me a new one. I have never heard from them but it appears there are more in stock. How can I get a replacement?

Tracy B.  asked on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

The manufacturer will cover any defect within 1 year of purchase, as you have a one year warranty. Please go to the brand websites of PROSONIC BEAUTY and they will surely take care of you.

Q:

You mentioned that this model has new and improved pulsating action. Is this ProSonic different than one purchased 4-6 months ago? BTW, I love the ProSonic I have now!

Louise H.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Hi Louise! That's so great to hear! The ProSonic currently being sold is a new and improved model, with a high frequency brush that spins and pulsates. The current model uses the latest sonic and pulsating technology for cleansing and exfoliating, and we hope you enjoy it even more than the previous model.

Q:

Can I use Clarisonic brand brush heads on this device?

Diana R.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Hi Diana, thank you for your question. Clarisonic brand brush heads cannot be used on the ProSonic device, but the device comes with three brush heads included - one for sensitive skin, one for normal skin, and one for body. Replacement brushes can be ordered with ease through the Prosonic Beauty site. Brushes cost $12.50 for one or $21 for two. We hope you enjoy the ProSonic!

Q:

I did a search for the replacement brushes (normal, sensitive and body) and most of the results for the Clairsonic, not the Pro Sonic. The couple that did come up for Pro Sonic show pictures of brushes that do not have the same base as the ones that are included with this Pro Sonic set. This concerns me since I would need replacement brushes and they do not seem easy to find online. Where can replacement brushes be found and purchased?

Denai M.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

The ProSonic base has not changed in over a year and neither have the brush heads, so I'm not sure what photos you are referring to and you should not be concerned. Regardless, you will have no problem buying replacement brushes and you can find them at various websites and the brand site at Prosonic Beauty so search it online and you'll find it. Brushes cost $12.50 for one or $21 for two.

Q:

I've noticed some reviews that this product stopped working after a few months of use. What does Prosonic offer in terms of warranty or in cases of defective products?

T K.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

The ProSonic system is backed by a one year warranty for any defects so if you encounter an issue they will address, troubleshoot, and replace the unit if needed. The warranty is provided with the system along with the manufacturer’s contact information. As this is a newly improved second generation version of the ProSonic, defects are very unlikely to occur as each unit has been machine-tested and stress tested and the battery life has been extended, the motor is more powerful, and you should not encounter any issues. Defects as what you read about are rare and were for the previous version where it occurred in less than 1% of the units.

Q:

Will the ProSonic improve acne prone skin? What is the life of the rechargeable battery?

monika a.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

ProSonic can be used on your skin if you have acne. ProSonic helps cleanse the skin and gets rid of dirt, oil, and skin impurities at a rate that is 6 times more effective than using your hands or regular brush via manual cleansing. By keeping your skin clean, it will be healthier which is beneficial for your skin and a skin condition such as acne. ProSonic does not treat acne but people who have used the device with acne loved the cleansing results.

The battery life depends on frequency of use. A full cycle charge should last 1-2 weeks and for some people a full month, but it's recommended that you charge up your Prosonic once a week or once you start seeing the device losing power.

Judy K.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

The ProSonic system is a high-frequency brush that spins at hundreds of times per minute and has 3 variable speeds for sensitive skin, normal skin (faster), and body speed.
