A:

Well Abeer that is a tough question because it really depends on whether you are a back or side sleeper, and whether your underlying mattress is soft or firm. Keep in mind the 3" adds an extra layer of soft, cushiony comfort which is fabulous when you are on your side. If you're a total back sleeper though, in my experience the 2" is better - I have hip pain and love the softness of my memory foam topper but I need some support as well. But my underlying mattress is very firm, so when I turn on my side I do find myself thinking the 3" would be better. Hope this helps!

Hi Betty, which Beautyrest topper are you referring to? Very difficult to compare them as Beautyrest rarely gives the density of their foam, and many of them are convoluted which is a much lesser quality topper. Ours is a solid premium 4lb density foam and is 100% USA Made. We use no imported Chinese foam.

Q:

Most foam toppers have a zipper cover that goes over the foam mattress...does this come with one or can one be purchased?

A:

Hi Tricia, actually alot of standard memory foam toppers (as opposed to gel memory foam) do not use covers. Not having a cover allows the foam to breathe freely and maximizes it's special temperature and comfort features. If you are worried about protecting the topper, you can place it underneath a mattress cover - it's a great way to protect both your topper and your mattress from stains.

Q:

when using a heating pad should it have a protective layer between the foam and the heating elements? How come you answer questions to sell, but the HANDS ON FIGHTER PILOT we paid $1198.00 for that is no good, and nobody will talk to us about. Is Groupon here to sell scams? How can I trust that this product not a low density? How can I trust that the new chemical smell will go away? Will we get our money back if we never get the product, or are all sales final? If I don't recieve the foam product do I deal with Groupon or is it the actual seller that we have to deal with?

Hi Kris, I have to admit I have no idea what a Hands On Fighter Pilot is - you definitely have to talk to Groupon customer service about that one! All I can tell you is we are definitely not a scam, we have been making high quality foam products for almost 20 years under national brand names. You are guaranteed to get a product, but do keep in mind that returns are only for products with manufacturing defects or damage during transit. If you do not receive your product you can contact us directly or Groupon, whichever you prefer. You do not need anything when using the heating pad, but your topper should at the least be under a top sheet, and preferably under a mattress cover as well. What type of foam is it? During the holidays, I saw quite a few urethane foam toppers, and I am especially sensitive to that type.

Hi Linda it is high density Visco and plant based derivates - Visco does have polyurethane as a component, it is what gives memory foam it's resiliency and supportive qualities.

Actually 2 questions...We have a Sleep Number system and need to replace the foam that sits on the air bladders. Will the 3" topper work? If so, can you use them with a heated mattress pad? Thanks!

I am extremely sensitive to odors. I noted your eco production and ingredients and that it's low voc. However I need to know if there is any odor at all when new. I don't want to wait for month to smell no odor. Thanks

Hi Tamara, if you are extremely sensitive to odors you might be sensitive to the smell of fresh foam itself and I am concerned you might have an issue with memory foam. There are no harmful fumes but I do not want to say there is no smell at all as there can be, particularly when the foam is freshly packaged. The fresh foam smell will definitely go away but since returns for the Groupon promotion are only for defective or damaged product, it might be better for you to buy a product that you know you can return if you have any issues with it. I would hate for you to get the topper and not be able to use it.

I purchased a King, 2" a few hours ago as a gift & just learned that I was given the wrong size and need a Queen, 2" instead, can I have it changed prior to delivery?
